Michael Lombardi on “The Retaliators”

Welcome Michael:

We’re joined on the Starline by a man who was first a musician growing up playing the drums, then fell into an acting gig or two. His latest role is Bishop in the horror flick “The Retaliators”. We welcome Michael Lombardi.

Michael, let’s go Beyond the Mic. Bishop is a level headed preacher but when his daughter is murdered, all hell breaks loose. What made this role so interesting for you?

The soundtrack and film is filled with a who’s who of rock with members of Motley Crue, Papa Roach and Five Finger Death Punch stopping by as well as a guy from “Clerks” who was supposed to be off that day. How did working with this cast and crew make you feel?

You were in FX’s Rescue Me, Blue Bloods and more projects. You are a story teller. Which stirs your creative juices more, acting / directing or rocking?

The Rockin’ 8:

It’s time for the Rockin’ 8, 8 random questions; answer with the first thing that comes to your mind. There is no Pressure.

1. Worst part of your tennis game?

2. Favorite horror movie growing up?

3. Do you still have your 1st drum kit?

4. Would you rather play at the Wolf Den inside the Mohegan Sun or play the Local 269?

5. Best 90’s heavy rock band?

6. When was the last time you’ve written in your book of poetry and lyrics?

7. Is Apache Stone’s MySpace page still up?

8. What is one thing you want people to remember about you?

One Big Question:

Who was the friend that you lost to opioid addiction that helped inspire you with Sno Babies?

The Wrap:

He almost played for a band named Fake Baby Head, would rather play the Local 269 and  thinks Pearl Jam was the best 90’s heavy rock band and wants you to see his movie “The Retaliators” Michael Lombardi, thanks for taking the time to talk with us today.

And that my friends is a Beyond the Mic Short Cut.
