We’re joined on the Starline by the first female roadie. Tana has worked in rock n roll for thirty years, three continents and many bands. Her book is “LOUD” and we welcome author Tana Douglas.

Tana, let’s go Beyond the Mic. “Dad, if I don’t see Janis play at Woodstock, I’ll never, ever have another chance!” For all the shows you’ve set up, seen and tore down, is this the only one you regret not seeing still?

Fifteen years old and playing your first guitar. On the road for all those years, do you still have it?

Your first gig was helping a band named “Fox”. Have you been in contact with them?

Your book is entertaining romp through music, life and overcoming adversity. What is your message to women today?

Her journey started in 1973 in Australia within a year she was working for AC/DC, first doing backline then F.O.H. Sound for the band. She then moved to lighting working for a major Australian promoter and completed in quick succession several tours with international acts such as: Santana, Suzi Quatro, Neil Diamond, David Essex and Leo Sayer and Status Quo all before she turned 18.
