Welcome Alan:

We’re joined on the Starline by an actor and author. You’ve seen him on stage, screen and TV. His latest book is “Baggage: Tales from a Fully Packed Life.” We welcome Alan Cumming.

Alan, let’s go Beyond the Mic. In the beginning of your book you talk about the interesting and remarkable parts of your life, the spaghetti surrounded by the monotony of life, the water. Why has your life been so full of pasta and limited monotony?

You found your signature look for $10 in L.A. How have you evolved and changed from the moment you discovered your brand?

What is one thing from the past that you miss and wish you had right now?

The Rockin’ 8:

It’s time for the Rockin’ 8, 8 random questions; answer with the first thing that comes to your mind. There is no Pressure.

1. Fans love your work on Cabaret, Instinct, The Good Wife, Spy Kids and more. But what’s the one project you wished fans would love as much as you do?

2. You believe in giving back and support numerous charities. Why was that important for you?

3. Best place for a drink in the world?

4. Favorite Broadway role?

5. Would you rather be a jack of all trades or a master of one?

6. Do you still twirl pens like you did in Goldeneye?

7. One thing that inspires you the most?

8. Do you sing in the shower?

The Wrap:

He sings in the shower, can’t twirl pens anymore and misses sense of humor. His book is “Baggage: Tales from a Fully Packed Life”. We thank Alan Cumming for taking the time to talk with us today.
