Let’s go Beyond the Mic. Your first life was in commercial real estate in Houston, how did that challenge you?

 Let’s talk about the incident that changed your life… you were undergoing a medical procedure that failed and left you legally blind.

I’ve heard your vision as looking through two straws, how would you describe your vision?

Art

You started in decoupage, then moved into mixed media and mosaics.Was this a natural transition or was there something about the media that drew you to it?

One of the pieces that drew my eye was your use of butterflies. Its transformative and like your journey. You started as a caterpillar working in real estate and had to go into a cocoon before transforming yourself into the artist you are today…

Which artists influenced you on your path?

How did that make you feel when she said you can do it?

Your son Josh is an Army Silver Star hero for clearing out an area of insurgents in Afghanistan.  Serving 4 tours in a war zone, you have to be very proud of him.

You recently lost your guide dog Chapman, you are almost ready to find your next partner. Tell me how important a guide dog is to you?
