Welcome Jasmyn

We’re joined on the Starline by a Sports Illustrated Model and Former Miss Georgia USA. She has her bachelor’s degree in Sociology. We welcome Jasmyn Wilkins.

Let’s go Beyond the Mic. Jasmyn you’ve had amazing opportunities through the Miss USA competition. Everyone thinks its glamour and glory. But what are some of the misconceptions about pageant life that people don’t understand?

How did they decide, “Hey Jasmyn, we’ve entered you into Miss Georgia”

You brought up high school, you’ve played alto sax in your schools marching band.  Did you ever think when playing saxophone during homecoming you’d be where you are today?

You were also in track & cross country. What races did you run?

Looking back at those times in high school, can you believe the transformation your life has had since then?

You have Uncle Dominique & your dad who spent time in the NBA. Did you ever consider playing basketball?

We’re talking with Former Miss Georgia USA and SI Model Jasmyn Wilkins Beyond the Mic. Jazz, you have Uncle Dominique and your dad who played in the NBA. Did you ever thought of playing basketball or was it nope, nope, not gonna do it.

Talk about acting, you’re known as a model but is acting the next step for you?

Well, if we’re going to talk about modeling, modeling for Sports Illustrated has to be the pinnacle of modeling.

Jasmyn Talking Family:

We’re talking with Former Miss Georgia USA and SI Model Jasmyn Wilkins Beyond the Mic. Jazz helping change mental health laws is important to you. You had to deal with this so secretly. You’ve watched him struggle privately. After dealing with your mother and her fight, it has to be for you to be daddy’s little girl but if my daughter Shelby says “Dad I need you”…
