Welcome John Kim
We’re joined on the Starline by bestselling author and life coach whose latest book “Single. On Purpose” is available now. Known as the Angry Therapist, we welcome John Kim.
John, let’s go Beyond the Mic why is being single important to people without being sad or lonely?
“Single. On Purpose” reads like a collection of case studies and mistakes others have made and how you’ve put them back on track. You are there to nudge them in the right direction; they have to make the hard decisions to get where they need to be.
What was the biggest mistake you learned from your first marriage? What did you rediscover about yourself during your single time?
As you continue helping people during the pandemic, how hard was it for people to admit they really needed help?
Each journey in singlehood can be different. For me it was reading, starting Beyond the Mic and learning to listen again, how was your journey?
Of all the stories in the book which touched you the most and made you want to help them even more.
You’re known as giving self-help in a shot glass. With the pandemic families are together more often and instead if being away for 8-10 hours a day, we’re all together 24 hours a day which causes even more tension.
