We’re joined on the Starline by the Houston Texas native on a mission. Her first solo was at the age of 12, now she’s showing the world what she has to offer in season 20 of NBC’s “The Voice” we welcome Dana Monique.

Good Morning Dana, let’s go Beyond the Mic. You were brought up with the power of music by your parents. Why was “The Voice” the perfect opportunity for you?

In the battles you fought Devan, but even though it’s a competition you’ve become a family.
