Welcome Keegan Ferrell
We’re joined on the Starline by the Fort Wayne, Indiana hometown hero. Abandoned in China as a newborn, now in Season 20 of NBC’s “The Voice” we welcome Keegan Ferrell.
Keegan, let’s go Beyond the Mic how has overcoming adversity in your life prepared you for living in Nashville and singing on “The Voice”?
Why did you audition, was it a dare or was it to prove something to yourself or was it proving to the fellow students at Belmont?
So, when you first got the call, what was going through your mind? There has to be some losing your mind emotions going through your head…
The blind auditions had to be nerve wracking with only 2 judges available to pick you. Going in, who did you want to be your coach and why?
How did you spend the last year in quarantine and how did your time away from fans change the way you appreciate them now?
Who are musicians you admired growing up?
How has your time with Blake Shelton changed the way you see your music?
As a producer how has this experience changed the way you help others?
Was there something that Dan + Shay told you that made a light bulb come on and sayoh wow? Especially back last year when you covered 10,000 hours

Talk about the support you’ve gotten from your family, friends and community. What would your grandma think of your time on “The Voice”?
People change. You said on social media once “”College changes people” is 100% true. That can be good or bad. I’ll say this, most of my “best friends” have made just about 0 effort to stay in touch, while I’ve tried very hard. Being ignored is hard, but it helps you know who actually cares/doesn’t. Who are the performers on The Voice that you formed tight bonds with and want to work with in the future?
“The Voice” experience changes lives. How do you see your life changed?
What’s your next project?
What do you have to tell your fans?
