Victor Solomon from NBC’s “The Voice”

Welcome Victor Solomon

We’re joined on the Starline by a North Carolina A&T Senior making waves on NBC’s “The Voice” as a part of Team Legend. We welcome Victor Solomon.

Victor, let’s go Beyond the Mic. You’ve survived the blind audition and the battle rounds, before we head to talking about the knockouts, I want you to talk to me about your battle brother Deion Warren. What a battle!

You worked so close with Deion, how did it feel when you had to let him go?

How has your relationship changed from when you first met to now? You two probably text and tweet and probably made a friend for life?

So there may be a duet in the future?

What is your mental preparation for each part of the show? I know I’m good, but I have to get someone to turn around. Then the battles, I know I’m good but I have to beat them then the knockouts where I know I’m good but I have to be good enough to move on…

What does your mom think now you are showing your skills in a non-gospel stage? At first momma saying UH NO WAY and now you’re like momma, see what I’ve got…

Once you win, you have to go back to the hotel, you’ve got all that nervous energy, you call your family and friends and then it hits you. You’re all alone and you realized you had won. How did you feel once John announced you won the battle?

How has your faith helped you during the quiet lonely nights during your time in “The Voice” quarantine?

Snoop Dogg is the Mega-Mentor for this season, when you saw him announced, what went through your mind? We’re talking GOSPEL SINGER and you got Snoop Dogg!

So speaking of advice, what lessons from Brandy, Snoop and John will help you in your future?

The Rockin’ 8:

It’s time for the Rockin’ 8, 8 random questions; answer with the first thing that comes to your mind.

There is no Pressure.

1. Favorite thing from your last visit to New York City? Like what?

2. What do you do to relax? Last movie you watched

3. Last person who hugged you last?

4. Place you go to think?

5. One thing on your bucket list still?

6. What does your style say about you?

7. What’s your favorite amusement park ride?

8. Do you think Bigfoot is real?

And what do you want to tell your fans?

Do you think you could win Mister A&T again if you could run again after your time on The Voice?

One Big Question:

What are your thoughts right now on the racial issues plaguing America?

The Wrap:

He doesn’t think Bigfoot is real, loves riding Superman at Six flags and likes to watch a movie to relax. From NBC’s “The Voice” Victor Solomon thank you for your time,

And that my friends is Beyond the Mic.

First Victor Solomon had the testicular fortitude to sing John Legend’s “Glory”:
