We’re joined on the Starline by one of the stars of Season 21 of NBC’s “The Voice”. She has a dream, but a backup plan just in case. She’s won 24 out of 25 talent shows she’s competed in. We welcome the talented Janora Brown.

Janora, let’s go Beyond the Mic. You graduated from UNC: Greensboro with a degree in biology and a concentration in pre-dentistry. With all your smarts, where did your love of music come from?

So what is your career goal after music dentist, hygienist?

Born in South Carolina, living in North Carolina now. What’s the big difference between Lake City and Wingate?

You auditioned via the Virtual Open Call, why did you choose “Killing Me Softly”?

When you got the casting team note that the team will be with you shortly, what was going through your mind?

After the 1st casting call you got a no. How did that 1st no motivate you?

Then the challenge of getting to the blinds and praying for a chair turn. How do you manage your nerves while trying to keep your composure?
