Let’s go Beyond the Mic Samara, your sister supports you as you take on the Voice. How did her season 3 experience prepare you for the lights and pressure of the show?
Did you feel like you needed that boost? Were you scared?
As an artist, the last year was devastating for you. No gigs, little money, lot of pressure. How did you use the quarantine time to improve yourself?
When the first chair turned and you knew you would be on the show… did your heart skip a beat? We’re you like, just keep remembering the words of the song!
You worked at the Banana Republic, was a hostess at Ashford & Simpson’s Sugar Bar and been a bartender. How did those moments serving others help you for The Voice?
You’ve been singing and dancing in church since you were 5. How has your faith helped you as you have faced adversity growing up?
How did traveling to places like New Delhi, London, Indonesia, Russia and Spain changed your musical perspective?
