Rea, let’s go Beyond the Mic family is important to your writing and you incorporate complex family dynamics in your stories. Has your writing have some basis from your own childhood?

The world is not black nor white, but a million shades of gray. Your characters don’t wear a black nor white cowboy hat. How do you use the gray in your characters and your stories to bring out those fears that parents have?
