BTM#400 with Voice of Donald Duck Daniel Ross

Welcome Daniel:

We’re joined on the Starline by the Emmy-nominated voice of so many characters, Starscream, Gizmo & Stripe, Lucky the Leprechaun and only the third person ever to voice Donald Duck. We welcome voice artist Daniel Ross.

Daniel, let’s go Beyond the Mic. It’s almost been a year since you’ve lost your mother. Your mom taught you Donald. I’ve watched the videos of her and she was incredible. Talk about her special life, how she encouraged you.

How does voicing Donald make you feel? Donald has a lot of passion and in the past plenty of anger, how does voicing Donald allow you to get your anger out?

Who are the voice artists that you looked to growing up and influenced the way you are today?

The Rockin’ 8:

It’s time for the Rockin’ 8, 8 random questions; answer with the first thing that comes to your mind. There is no Pressure.

1. Which poker game are you better at: Crazy Pineapple, Omaha or Texas Hold Em?

2. Favorite ride at Walt Disney World?

3. Who has better hair Guy Fieri or you?

4. Weirdest thing that has happened at a con?

5. Who is the voiceover artist that you haven’t worked with that you’d do it in a heartbeat?

6. Impression you’ve tried a million times and you just can’t pull it off?

7. Best thing about your pet bird?

8. Best memory from Ninjas vs Vampires?

Talk about your voice and your incredible range. Tell us about the characters you voice and why they are special to you.

One Big Question:

What would an Emmy award mean to you and to your late mom’s memory?

Where can people find you?

The Wrap:
