We’re joined on the Starline by a member of Season 20 of NBC’s “The Voice”. The Detroit native was wanted by both John Legend & Kelly Clarkson during the blind auditions. We welcome Zania Alakè.
Zania, let’s go Beyond the Mic before performance arts high school & music education through college growing up your momma put you right in the spotlight with concerts from your kitchen with your sister. What was it like to grow up with music as a passion for your entire family?
So you got it full at the beginning
You have a dual personality. By day you’re a full time banker, by night a mom and in an Anita Baker tribute show. How do you keep the fine line the balance between fun and family?
When you were on Super Singer back in 2017 did you think you would be where you are today?
When was the moment that you found out, the call came through you were going through to the blind auditions. Can you share with us that moment? What was going through your mind?
Now how proud are your siblings Sansa & Ra, friends, family and the Detroit community of your accomplishments so far?
