Welcome Leanne Brown:
We’re joined on the Starline by a woman who is the author of the #1 cookbook ever on Kickstarter. Her 1st book “Good & Cheap” helped people on a budget. We welcome author of “Good Enough” Leanne Brown.
Leanne, let’s go Beyond the Mic. The pandemic was hard on all of us. Stuck at home stressed and we had to eat, how did you take this time to write & edit “Good Enough”?
How did the pandemic change you and maybe the book as a whole?
In your book, you tell some stories, give the TL:DR version of the recipe and then straight to work. How is food not only nourishing for our bodies but for our soul?
The Rockin’ 8:
It’s time for the Rockin’ 8, 8 random questions; answer with the first thing that comes to your mind. There is no Pressure.
1. Favorite place to shop?
2. Meal you make when you are happy?
3. Favorite flowers?
4. Biggest pet peeve?
5. Best experience when you were a farm intern?
6. Music you listen to while cooking?
7. Would you rather be in the kitchen prepping as an author or as politics as a deputy campaign manager?
8. Where do you see yourself in a year? Continuing to spread message
One Big Question:
You don’t believe in celebrating yourself, but I’ll celebrate your effort to help those who can’t afford fancy cookbooks by putting your book “Good and Cheap” online for free download. Why was that important for you?
The Wrap:
She hates messy sheets, singing music from the movie “Encanto” while cooking and loves to give back. Author of “Good Enough” we thank Leanne Brown for taking the time to talk with us today.
