Welcome Olivier Raynal & Andrew Doolittle from Antisolar:

We’re joined on the Starline by a pair of musical artists separated by 5,642 miles but have found a mission restoring the world despite seemingly overwhelming odds. We welcome Olivier Raynal and Andrew Doolittle also known as Antisolar.

AG Gentlemen, let’s go Beyond the Mic. The Antisolar point is 180 degrees from the sun. Why was Antisolar appropriate as a band name?

So if you could describe your music to others, how would you in under 10 words Andrew?

What were some of the rejected names?

Olivier, Studio City Sound in L.A. has special meaning for you both, what makes it such a special place to record?

Why did working together seem right?

Gentlemen, “Do We Tremble At Night” was created after a mass shooting. How did the emotions of anger, fear, grief and helplessness transform you creatively?

Olivier, you explored Kenya in your search for change. How did seeing the last two living Northern White Rhinos change you as a man?

Andrew, you’re a guitarist, studio musician and guitar professor. How has teaching others help you create change others for their future and for yours?

The Rockin’ 8:

It’s time for the Rockin’ 8, 8 random questions; answer with the first thing that comes to your mind. There is no Pressure. Since we have two guests, Olivier being further away from me will go first, then Andrew.

1. Andrew, one place you would never be seen at?

2. What’s your worst habit when you get nervous?

3. Olivier, what’s in your famous homemade rib rub?

4. Olivier, one thing you miss about L.A. and Andrew one thing you miss about Paris?

5. Favorite place to have played music live?

6. Gentlemen, if you could replace one body part with a bionic replacement, which would you choose?

7. Best album, you have heard that isn’t yours, of all time?

8. Non relative who inspires you to be better each day?

The Back Half with Olivier & Andrew from Antisolar:

Olivier, as an actor, musician and composer you’ve allowed the creative process for your own evolution. How have you evolved from when you first started in music to now?

Andrew, when did music first touch your soul and who gave you such passion for music?

Olivier, when you are in front of a camera or on stage, how does your stage presence change from trying to impress a camera to in front of fans?

Do you still have butterflies when you are in front of a camera?

Andrew, how has mentoring Sean Segal change you as a person?

Gentlemen, how has your parents supported your artistry?

Andrew is taping this interview in the car hiding from his kids in L.A. Olivier is hiding from his kids in his closet. How has your kids changed your life?

Olivier, what do you want for the future for your kids?

Andrew, how has your time in Oklahoma, Los Angeles Paris and around the world helped you discover who you are and who you want to be for your daughter?

How has your time, your education in this cutthroat industry caused you to love or loath it?

Looking back, on that one moment where a mutual friend got you two together in a recording session, how important was that one moment in your lives?

What’s your next challenge other than getting together?

One thing you want people to remember about Antisolar and you?

One Big Question:

Do you think massive change in our current world actually possible, or is it dependent on more than one person attempting change?

The Wrap:

They want bionic knees / legs, forget things when they are nervous and you won’t see them under the foam at a dance club. They are Antisolar, we thank Andrew Doolittle and Olivier Raynal for taking the time to talk to us.
