Don, let’s go Beyond the Mic, your life is a wild ride from Rhode Island to the University of Nebraska to Africa to New York City. How did all these rich scenic places help you hone your love of writing?
“City on Fire” is the beginning of a movie crime trilogy that will take readers on a ride from Providence with Danny Ryan, a longshoreman who’s muscle for the Irish Mob. How close is Danny’s desire to start over fresh to your own desires now that you are retiring from writing?
As a storyteller, what do you think is the most important thing for young writers to remember?
