Welcome Sara:

We’re joined on the Starline by an award-nominated documentary director & award winning producer. Her films include The Last Season, the Academy Award-nominated The Edge of Democracy among others. We welcome “Fire of Love” filmmaker Sara Dosa.

Sara, let’s go Beyond the Mic. You’ve covered politics, ecology and other topics. Why was these two French scientists Katia and Maurice Krafft’s story so compelling for you?

As you examined the hundreds of hours of never seen footage, how did your emotions range. Especially when you knew the final chapter already was written?

What piece of footage has a special place in your heart?

The Rockin’ 8:

It’s time for the Rockin’ 8, 8 random questions; answer with the first thing that comes to your mind. There is no Pressure.

1. Favorite moment from the final cut of the film?

2. Favorite flower?

3. You’ve traveled around the world for many projects, where’s your favorite place to relax?

4. Do you have any tattoos?

5. One thing you love about your grandmother?

6. Your Instagram filled with incredible pictures. Where’s the best place you saw a sunrise?

7. What’s your message to young women who want to become a filmmaker and director?

8. Favorite comfort food?

What do you want people to take away from “Fire of Love”?

One Big Question:

Why do you love being a storyteller?

What’s your next project?
