If you supported the original “The Evil Dead” your investment has paid off more than X times. How many?  Listen to a Beyond the Mic Short Cut with actor Bruce Campbell to find out.

Welcome Bruce Campbell:

We’re joined on the Starline by actor, author, filmmaker, voice actor and game show host. You’ve seen him in Knots Landing, Jack of All Trades, Xena, Hercules, Burn Notice and a movie that was the best-selling video of 1983 beating The Shining. That low budget film created the Evil Dead legend. He’s no one’s Side KICK. We welcome Bruce Campbell.

Bruce, let’s go Beyond the Mic. You’re taking the Bruce – O – Rama tour to 22 cities in April. Is the tour, Last Fan Standing etc more fun for the fans or for you?

You have embraced your fans like very few stars. Why was that important for you?

As executive producer to Evil Dead Rise, how do you think Alyssa Sutherland and Lily Sullivan took your love of this franchise and horror to a new level?

You said once, “Hollywood is a very fickle mistress. She’s never happy. You can never put in enough time.” How has your time in Hollywood changed you?

The Rockin’ 8:

It’s time for the Rockin’ 8, 8 random questions; answer with the first thing that comes to your mind. There is no Pressure.

1. What was the longest bike ride you’ve ever done?

2. Best thing about Western Michigan University?

3. Favorite horror film you didn’t act in?

4. Who is the co-star that you would always make time for a drink with? Favorite drink?

5. Last show you binge watched?

6. Best present you’ve ever been given from your brother?

7. What’s your handicap in golf?

8. Have you used a Chuck Finleyesque alias when you’re trying to be low key in public?

How did the pandemic change the way you thought of your craft?

One Big Question:

How did your dad’s encouragement of your career from the original car commercial you did together to everything else along the way change your life?

When you go out on the road, what’s the best road trip snack? (other than tequila)
