Welcome Marc Ensign

We’re joined on the Starline by a professional speaker, advisor and musician. He used to play on Broadway and fills in occasionally. But now he’s a Dick. We welcome the author of “Be a Dick” Marc Ensign.

Let’s go Beyond the Mic, growing up in New Jersey you wanted to be anonymous but also wanted to change the world.

Now wanted to be anonymous in high school and you were very successful. But looking back and now with the lessons you learned from Dick would you want to be Captain Cutter?

Be a Dick is a 12 step course of lessons you learned from your neighbor Dick. How has your life changed from that moment dragging the kids and the dog in the hot Florida sun and meeting Dick?

Being a dick isn’t something to be proud of but being a CAPITAL D Dick is something different. Can you explain the difference?

Talking to Dick

How many times a week do you talk to Dick?

How was that experience of revealing the book to Dick?

Can you balance being a Dick, while limiting the time that people take advantage of your Dickness? Being kind and generous, emulating Dick while not allowing people to hurt you.

“Be a Dick” Author Marc Ensign joins us Beyond the Mic. You talk in your book about the moment you broke down after Inbound 14 speech. You were grateful for the good and the bad to getting you to the one peak you’d been climbing to reach. But you found a new peak. How does a person grow and find their way to a new challenge after reaching the 1st impossible peak that you may have been chasing your entire life?

In these times of COVID-19 quarantine why is being a Dick so important right now?

Other than being an author you are a speaker on leadership and personal branding, how did you get from musician Berklee school of Music. How do you get from musician to helping create brand authority?

The author of “Be a Dick” Marc Ensign joins us Beyond the Mic. You’ve built your brand Loud Mouse on being an authority how long did it take to become the authority?
