Musicians Kurt Deimer and Phil X

Welcome Kurt & Phil:

We’re joined on the Starline by two rockers on the road supporting Tesla on tour this year. One plays guitar for Bon Jovi, the other traded suits and 21 trademarks for a horror franchise and a mic. We welcome Phil X and Kurt Deimer

Gentlemen, let’s go Beyond the Mic. Phil, you have said that Kurt gives you “full creative freedom”. Why do you believe that and how is Kurt different than anyone else you’ve worked with?

Kurt, you have been successful as a businessman and entrepreneur. Why was music the one hole in your heart that you had to let free?

Well Kurt, what has changed from the time with Circus Birds to today?

Phil, what has changed from the time you formed Sidinex to today?

You are so passionate about your music, it allows you to be free. When people come hear your music, what do you want them to feel?

How does touching people touch you with your music change you?

The Rockin’ 8:

It’s time for the Rockin’ 8, 8 random questions; answer with the first thing that comes to your mind. Since we have two guests we’ll alternate questions starting with Kurt, but there is no Pressure.

1. Kurt, what’s your typical order at Skyline Chili?

2. Phil, the best thing about your kids?

3. Kurt, why is helping raise money for the L Foundation important for you?

4. Phil, what was your 1st guitar and do you still have it?

5. Kurt, favorite and least favorite horror film of all time?

6. Phil, favorite song to play when your mind can’t stop?

7. Kurt, have you been in contact with Pink yet?

8. Phil, the one album you wanted to play on that just didn’t work out?

The Back Half with:

If you can put your dream concert together, who would open, middle act and headliner?

You want hard rock, but with a heartfelt message, why was that important for you both?

Everyone has a story they haven’t told before that encapsulates who they are and how they have become stronger, better and in some cases wiser. What’s your one story?

What would your first gold record mean to you?

One Big Question:

As you play you have the responsibility of influencing the future. When younger fan see you, they might want to write songs like you Kurt or play the guitar like you Phil. How important is that responsibility and how do you handle it?

The Wrap:

Kurt wants to leave a legacy, Phil doesn’t have his first guitar but has found a replica. Go see Kurt Deimer and Phil X on the road near you. Kurt, Phil, thanks for taking the time to talk with us.
